Earl Gene Davis

Earl Gene Davis, age 82, of Readyville passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 at his home. He was born on May 25, 1939 in Celina, Tennessee to his parents, R.Z. Davis & Olyene Bowman Davis.

Survivors include his daughters, Debbie & Robbie Bryson of Woodbury, Janet & Jerry Bowman of Shelbyville, and Angie & Jerry Green of Readyville; Grandchildren, Chip (Audra) Bryson, Jonathan (Jessica) Bryson, Jacob (Meredith) Bryson, Bethany (Dewayne) Swing, Tiffany (Jason) Coggins, Justin (Sarah) Green, & Jeremy Green; Siblings, Martha (Mitchell) Anderson of Baxter, James (Sue) Davis of Hillham, and Peggy Davis of Celina; and 19 Great Grandchildren also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years who passed away in 2015, Jeanie Keen Davis.

Mr. Davis was a lifelong member of the Antioch Church of Christ and was an auto mechanic. He loved to fish, enjoyed fast cars & motorcycles, but his life was spending time with his family.

Graveside Services will be 11 AM Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Riverside Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Teb Batey officiating.
