Leslie “Les” Marston Bush, age 86, of Bradyville passed away peacefully at his home after a long battle with cancer on December 18, 2025 into the loving arms of Jesus surrounded by his loving wife and children.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Sharon; his 3 sons, Craig Alan Bush, Ryan Patrick Bush and Jeremy David (Stephanie) Bush; 7 grandchildren, Derek Alan Bush, Justin Kyle Bush, Kylie Paige Bush, Emily Grace Bush, Evan David Bush, Logan Gabriel Bush, Hudson Levi Bush; 3 great grandchildren, Mason Jake Bush, Miles Leo Bush and Liam Alan Bush; 38 nieces and nephews and 2 children from a previous marriage, Patricia (Timmy) Farless and Marty Bush and their children.
Preceding him in death were his parents, George and Millie Carter Bush; his siblings, Jesse, J.T., Bobby, Gale, Donna Taylor, Imogene Rogers, Joyce McBride, Twila Underwood and Thelma Kennedy; nieces, Brenda Pickett and Sandra Bowen and Nephews, Ronnie Bush, Roy Rogers and Danny Owen.
Les served in the United States Air Force receiving an honorable discharge. He was a police officer for many years in Hampton, VA., Cannon Co. Sheriffs Dept and Woodbury Police Dept. He was also a mechanic for several years owning and operating Bush’s Garage.
He attended World Outreach church until his health declined and then listened to services online. Les enjoyed reading, hunting, playing guitar and singing.
His family will receive friends, Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 21, 2025 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Heath and Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Gilley Hill cemetery. His grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
