Mark Franklin Davis, 64, passed away at his home Monday, December 22, 2025 following an extended illness. Born in Huntsville, AL., he is the son of Frank Davis of Christiana and the late Helen Carter Dam. Also precededing him in death were his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Doris Markum.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lesa Markum Davis of Cannon Co., sister, Melissa (Jeff) Parker of Colleyville, TX; niece and nephew, Ryan Parker and Reagan Parker of TX. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark was a graduate of Oakland High School and ran with the Cross Country Team. A member of the First Baptist Church of Woodbury, Mark worked for Toyota in the service dept. He enjoyed building and restoring old cars. He was a member of the Murfreesboro Jaycees where he served as President and was also a member of the Murfreesboro Exchange Club. He also served as a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Woodbury.
The Davis family will receive friends Friday, December 26, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Woodbury Funeral Home and Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Woodbury. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Dean Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Blues Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jeff Parker, Ryan Parker, Knut Danielsen, Kein Guess, Colten Guess, and Brian Scaffer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Woodbury and Gideons International.
