Woodbury Artist Brings Everyday Experiences To Life

Moxie Art Supply is pleased to announce a new exhibition of watercolor paintings by artist Joyce Kimbel.

The works reveal the artist’s mastery of watercolor through a wide range of subjects. Kimbel’s sensitivity to the medium is also reflected in the subjects she chooses to paint; children, flora and the landscape. Working from her studio in Woodbury, Tennessee, Joyce Kimbel captures moments of everyday life that are both engaging and fresh.

The artist’s fascination for book illustrations led her to pursue watercolor painting in 2007. Kimbel continues to develop as an artist by working in not only watercolors but also with pen and ink and colored pencils. She also is a book illustrator and an active commission artist.

Joyce Kimbel’s paintings will be on exhibit at Moxie Art Supply through July 21.

A reception for the artist will be held on Tuesday, July 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
