William “Mr. Bill” Milburn Gunter

 

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at Southeast Baptist Church. Brother Joe Vinson and Brother Kent Robbins will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

 

Mr. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Inette Hughes Gunter; sons, Lanny Gunter and his wife Linda of Murfreesboro and Lindsay Gunter and his wife Donna of Auburntown; sister, Elsie Dean Mooneyham of Woodbury; grandchildren, Laura Gunter Nickens and her husband Jeremy of Murfreesboro, Christopher Dale Gunter and his wife Rebekah of Murfreesboro, Savannah Lynn Gunter and Caroline Delaney Gunter of Auburntown; great-grandchildren, Emma Katie-Pearl Nickens, Samuel Grant Nickens and Connor Jackson Minor all of Murfreesboro; along with many nieces and nephews.

 

Mr. Bill was a charter member and deacon of Southeast Baptist Church. He was retired from Venture Express. Mr. Bill was a faithful participant in the South Dakota Mission Trips for many decades with the church. He enjoyed driving, mowing grass and most importantly enjoyed reading his bible. Mr. Bill was also an avid Tennessee Titans fan and an MTSU Football fan. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

 

The ordained men of Southeast Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
