Final preparations are underway for wecarecannon, an annual event that helps students prepare for school.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, July 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Woodbury Grammar School.

Pre-K through high school students can kick off the school year with FREE checkups, school supplies including notebook paper and crayons in addition to new backbacks.

Available checkups include health, dental and vision. Free haircuts are also provided. Children must be present for the event.
