The contents of a pink fur purse resulted in the arrest of a dazed and confused woman outside a local restaurant.

The woman, identified as Debra Mock was dropped off near the restaurant with several plastic trash bags which contained her belongings.
Business owners allowed Mock to stay there for approximately four hours starting at 10 a.m.

"They were allowing her to stay there to find a place to go. It was when her behavior started becoming erratic that they became worried," deputies reported. "She continually paced back and forth around the restaurant. She kept continually looking out the windows and at some point went into the bathroom and came back out."

She claimed to be from Coffee County where she had been involved in an incident.

Officers told Mrs. Mock about the various options for 24-hour care in Woodbury. At that point, she requested an ambulance and one was called.
Prior to the EMS arrival, deputies asked Mrs. Mock for consent to search her and her belongings.

"I came across a purse with pink fur on it in one of the trash bags, she begins to place her hands in the purse and shuffle things around as I am trying to look for weapons," an officer reported.

Two knives were found in the purse and five more knives were found on her person, it was reported.

A strong order of marijuana came from the purse.

"I asked Mrs. Mock to be truthful, and asked her how much marijuana was in the purse, she says 'it's not much,' but wanted to ensure me it was 'for medical use," the deputy said.
A search of the purse revealed bags of "green leafy substance" and bars of a "chalky white substance." A drug test identified the white substance as MDMA (Ecstasy).

Mrs. Mock was booked into the Cannon County Jail on the charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a Schedule 2 Controlled Substance, simple possession of a Schedule 6 controlled substance and with resisting arrest.

Her bond was set at $5,000 and a court date was scheduled for May 2 in General Sessions Court.
