Hunting 101 is a course that will introduce you to the basics of deer hunting. This course is open to ages 10 and up.
We will discuss and show students the types of sign they need to be aware of when looking for a spot to hunt and effective use of ground blinds.
Participants will get hands on experience with Treestand safety, shooting technique and safety (using pellet rifles), archery technique and safety, and blood trailing after the shot.
Once entering Yanahli Park, go to the roundabout and take the second right, follow the gravel road to the archery range.
8am-12pm Saturday, October 15. Bring a chair or something to sit on.

If you are interested in deer hunting and learning the basics, sign up for the Hunting 101 class. Learn what sign to look for, treestand, archery, and firearm technique and safety. See how to use a ground blind effectively and track an animal after the shot. The class is open to ages 10 through adult, and is really geared toward the beginner, to give you knowledge and confidence to get out and hunt.
