MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- MTSU not only will be rolling out the blue carpet, but also a brand new signature event -- True Blue Preview -- for the first of two fall open houses for prospective students and parents to learn more about the university's academic programs and outstanding value.

True Blue Previews, with an expanded itinerary and more opportunities for students and families to explore, will be held this fall on Saturday, Sept. 21, and Saturday, Nov. 2.

MTSU conducts True Blue Previews as a way for prospective students to see the campus, take extended tours led by student guides, learn about academic departments and student services, housing, programs and student organizations, and meet faculty and staff from academic areas and Student Affairs, and explore some of the services that are provided to students.

"This is the best time to explore what it means to be 'True Blue,'" said Linda Olsen, undergraduate admissions director. "True Blue Preview offers the premier visit experience and is customized based on your needs."

In addition to touring campus and housing, visitors can participate in academic and departmental presentations, receive information on financial aid and scholarships and choose from many different special interest sessions.
