Lions prepare to battle Bees Friday

The Lion's defense dominated the first half against Community High last week, with plays like Brenden Reed (No. 1) and Jamal Barret (No. 2) dropping the runner for a loss, holding the Vikings scoreless. Class AAA Region 4 football action returns to Fred Schwartz Field at Cannon County High School this Friday when the Bees of Baxter's Upperman High School buzz into Woodbury. The 3-1 Bees are coming off their first loss to the season, a 10-7 setback at home to Livingston Academy. Upperman 1-0 in region play.
