"One of my favorite things about the Light Up the Night end of summer party are the hors d'oeuvres and beverages!" said Child Advocacy Center Development Coordinator Katie Enzor.

"All of our favorite local businesses are donating food and drinks," continued Enzor, "Big Creek Winery, Chick-fil-A, Core-Life, Crumble Cookies, Domenico's Italian Deli, Empanada Sonata, Fat Guy's BBQ, Goodness Gracious, Harding House Brewing Co., Mayday Brewery, McAlister's Deli, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Old Fort Liquor Beer and Wine, Primrose Table, Simply Pure Sweets, Slick Pig BBQ, and The Ally on Main. The invitations from the Nesting Project were very pretty and the decorations are going to be beautiful thanks to Murfreesboro Flower Shoppe!"

The Child Advocacy Center is hosting the 4th Annual Light Up the Night Party to celebrate the end of summer on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. The party of the season will include music, dancing, heavy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and a silent auction. Two complimentary drinks are included with each ticket and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $100 per individual or $175 per couple. Tickets will also be available at the door for purchase.

The front lawn outdoors at Oakland's Mansion provides a wide area to socially distance. Guests are encouraged to wear white to shine a light on the darkness of child abuse.

The Child Advocacy Center works as a team with Department of Children's Services, law enforcement, and the District Attorney's Office to respond to emergency child abuse cases, protect children, arrest perpetrators, aggressively prosecute offenders, help children heal from the trauma, and help families rebuild their shattered lives.

"The Child Advocacy Center is grateful to all of the sponsors for helping make this an amazing end of summer party," concluded Child Advocacy Center director Sharon De Boer. "The only thing that will make it better is if YOU join us on Friday evening for Light Up the Night!"

Event tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available at cacrutherford.org/events. For questions, contact Katie Enzor in Rutherford County at kenzor@cacrutherford.org or (615) 867-9000 and in Cannon County contact Amanda Hammond at ahammond@cannoncac.org or (615) 563-9915.
