Perfect weather helped draw a major crowd to the first Cruise-In car show of the season.
"It was a great turn-out," said Carolyn Motley of the Cannon County Chamber of Commerce. "Almost all of the parking places inside the Square were taken. If this continues we're going to have to use some of the places on the outside of the square.
"We had several classic motorcycles as well," she said.
Car fans were happy about the showing as well. Hot rods, two rare Chevy Nomads, the latest Mustangs and Corvettes and dozens of other custom and stock cars were shown.
The next Cruise-In is set for Saturday, May 28.
