Cruise-In car shows to begin

Ready for some spring fun? Then join in the first Cruise-In of the season on Saturday, April 23 on the Square in Woodbury.

The show is open to all cars, trucks and unique vehicles from 4 to 7:30 p.m.

No entry fees or spectator fees are charged for the Cruise-Ins, which are presented by the Cannon County Chamber of Commerce.

Concessions will be available for the car show which is co-sponsored by Iron Pig Antiques, Jennings Jewelers, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Moonlite Drive-In, Purrfectly Pawlished Pet Salon and Ford of Murfreesboro.

The 2016 schedule also includes Cruise-Ins on Saturdays, May 28, June 25, July 23 and August 27. Each show runs from 4 to 7:30 p.m.

A highlight of the car show season is the annual Color of Fall Car Show set for 8 a.m. Saturday, September 24. A rain date is scheduled for Saturday, October 1.

A special Toy Drive Cruise-In is set for 3 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, October 8. DTC will sponsor a 32-inch TV give-away on that date. Cruisers can register each time they participate in the monthly cruise. You must be present to win.

Cruiser of the Month Awards are presented along with a 50/50 Drawing, door prizes and Moonlite Drive-In tickets.
