CCHS Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America will be representing Cannon County High School in six STAR Events at the FCCLA State Leadership Conference in April at Opryland Resort.

The district results are as follows: Shelby Lovvorn 1st Place in Applied Technology, Hayley Gannon 1st Place in Career Investigation, Haley Sissom 3rd Place in Junior Creed, Reba Barnett 2nd Place in Senior Creed, Shawnetta Ray 2nd Place in Illustrated Talk, Katlyn Arnold & Emily Pemberton 1st Place in Life Event Planning, and Emily Agee & Mary Talbott 1st Place in Focus on Children.

We would also like to thank Catie Adams, Sarah Rogers, and Josie Woolsey for acting as room consultants.

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition) are competitive events in which members are recognized for proficiency and achievement in chapter and individual projects, leadership skills, and career preparation.
