Billy Bob Hibdon

Billy Bob Hibdon, 78,  died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at DeKalb Community Hospital.

A resident of Morrison, he was a Cannon County native.

A member of Living Springs Church, he was a farmer, a mechanic and known by many as the Mayor of Ivy Bluff.

Survivors:

Wife: Diane “Di” Clark Hibdon of Ivy Bluff Community.

2 Children: Debbie (Mike) Lark of Sevierville & Billy Doris (Adron) Williams of Cannon Co.

2 Step Children: Tina (James Wendell) Mitchell of Cannon Co. & Jesse (Denise) Adams of Fort Myers, Fl.

6 Grandchildren: Chasity, Jason, Michael, Maritta, Britney, Jeremiah.

Great grandchildren: Jaylyn,Kaylee, Myah, Jesse, Cassie & Natallia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie B. & Vella Bratcher Hibdon; 1st Wife, Doris Hibdon; Son, Jeffery Hibdon and Step Son, James Adams.

Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 9, 2012 with Bro. Jeff Mitchell officiating.                          

Interment: Midway Cemetery

Visitation: 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thurs. Mar. 8, 2012.
