Cannon Arts Dance Set To Begin New Semester

Jan 27, 2012 at 05:00 am by admin

With the successful completion of the recital at the Arts Center of Cannon County, the Cannon Arts Dance Studio looks to the Spring semester for new beginnings.

Classes are now forming for Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Clogging, and Ballroom.

In addition to our studio classes, Spring events include a clogging workshop Monday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. put on by the Cripple Creek Cloggers, a field trip to Mary Poppins March 25, and The Celebration of Spring at Edgar Evins State Park, April 14.

Students who dance this semester will also perform at The Good Ole Days, May 21 or 22 and The Library shows, May 31. In addition, exciting new adult workshops are coming soon.

Registration begins Jan. 31 and is open for the next two weeks, for new as well as returning students. If a student signs up now and pays for the entire semester, they will get a month of hip hop classes free with our newest teacher, Tiffany Philpot.

If you missed your chance to dance now is the time to join us for fun and frolic. For more information call the studio @ 563-9122.
