Tennessee Highway Patrol Competing To Be America's Best Cruiser

Jul 07, 2026 at 08:41 am by kready

The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is asking Tennesseans for their vote in the American Association of State Troopers (AAST) 13th Annual Best Looking Cruiser Contest. This year’s photo features a new Chevy Tahoe in front of Bald River Falls in the Cherokee National Forest in Monroe County.

To cast your vote for THP, visit bit.ly/VoteTHP26. Once on the AAST voting site, scroll down the page to select Tennessee. Voting for the 2026 Best Looking Cruiser Contest ends Friday, July 10.

Every year, highway patrol and state police organizations across the country compete for the honor of having America’s Best-Looking Cruiser. The 13 states with the highest vote totals will be featured in AAST’s 2027 Trooper Cruisers Wall Calendar with the top state gracing the cover.  Calendar sales help fund student scholarships through the AAST Foundation.
