This new federal initiative marks the first step toward expanding access to short-term, career-focused training supported by Pell Grants. At this stage, eligible colleges and universities are invited to apply to have their training programs approved. As programs move through the review and approval process, more opportunities will become available for Tennesseans to gain skills for in-demand, high-skill, high-wage careers.
