Cumberland University’s Labry School of Science, Technology, and Business is proud to welcome Brian Goldstine as a distinguished guest speaker in its Fall Business Speaker Series. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Baird Chapel at Memorial Hall on the Cumberland University campus.

This event is open to students, faculty, staff, and members of the local community, offering a unique opportunity to gain insights from one of the business world’s most accomplished and forward-thinking leaders.

With nearly 30 years of leadership experience, Brian Goldstine has held senior executive roles across a range of industries including fast-moving consumer goods, durable goods, and technology-driven services. He has led transformative initiatives at globally recognized companies such as Unilever, Kraft Foods, Kimberly-Clark, and most recently, Bridgestone, where he served in multiple senior leadership positions.

“Brian Goldstine’s career reflects the kind of innovative leadership and commitment to service that we strive to instill in our students,” Jim Shulman, Dean of the Labry School of Science, Technology, and Business, expressed. “His perspective on navigating change in global companies and leveraging technology to drive growth will offer our students an invaluable look at how to succeed in today’s business landscape.”

As President of Retread Tire Solutions at Bridgestone, Goldstine oversaw a business providing sustainable and efficiency-focused solutions to commercial trucking fleets across the Americas and Europe. In his previous role as President of Mobility Solutions and Fleet Management, he spearheaded the company’s evolution toward becoming a leader in mobility technology, integrating digital, SaaS, and AI-powered innovations into Bridgestone’s core offerings.

His earlier roles include leading the North American bath tissue business at Kimberly-Clark and serving as VP & Country Manager for Canada, managing a portfolio of nine consumer product categories. He has also driven brand growth at Unilever and Kraft Foods, contributing to the success of household names like Breyers, Klondike, Stove Top Stuffing, and Cheez Whiz.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Goldstine is deeply committed to community service. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Cooperative in Nashville and leads strategic initiatives for The Store, a nonprofit addressing food insecurity in Middle Tennessee.

Goldstine holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Washington Foster School of Business and a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, San Diego. He lives in Franklin, Tennessee, with his wife Suzy and is the proud father of two sons.

“We are honored to have Brian Goldstine join us for this year’s Business Speaker Series,” shared Dr. Valerie King, Associate Professor of Marketing, Academic Area Leader of Business and the Joe Scarlett Endowed Professor at Cumberland University. “His insights into leadership, innovation, and business transformation will provide invaluable learning for our students and the broader community.”
