The District 6-AA basketball postseason is in sights. The tournament will be held February 18th-22nd at Watertown High School.
Tonight however is the final game of the district portion of the basketball season as the regular season champions Westmoreland Lady Eagles will travel to Woodbury to meet the Cannon County Lionettes who should finish 3rd in the district standings.
While the Smith County Owls are entering the district tournament as the #1 seed, the Lions can wrap up the second seed with a win over Westmoreland who is winless in District 6-AA play.
