The Cannon County Lions look to rebound from the double overtime loss in Smithville Tuesday when they meet Friendship Christian in the fifth game of today's 2021 Cody Bailey Thanksgiving Classic at Cannon County High School. Both teams enter the contest 1-2.
It's been 17 years since the last time Cannon played Friendship.
The Commanders won 53-50 in 2004.
The game will be livestreamed via Facebook Live on Facebook Page "Cannon Courier News and Events". The stream will be up and running at 5:20 with the tipoff of the game scheduled at 5:30.
The Cannon County Lionettes game vs Providence Christian Academy from Murfreesboro was cancelled and no opponent could be found to play tonight.
