Record attendance is expected to attend the 75th annual Woodbury Lions Club horse show Saturday, June 6.
The 37-class event starts at 3:30 Saturday afternoon and by the time the Walking Horse Stake class is called the clock will be inching toward midnight.

Winning this show is considered by many horse enthusiasts to be second only to winning the Celebration in Shelbyville.

The Lions Club show has been voted the “Best One-Night Show” in the nation seven of the last 10 years. Last year’s show was named by the Walking Horse Readers Choice awards as the top show in the nation and the reserve “Best One-Night Show” by the Walking Horse Trainers Association.

Box seats consisting of six admission tickets and a six-chair ringside box are available by calling Lois Larimer at 563-2538.

For more information call Bruce Steelman, general show chairman, at 563-1364 for further information or to learn how your volunteer assistance could best be used.
