Farm Credit Mid-America welcomes Amy Olt as a Financial Officer in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee, office. Farm Credit Mid-America is an agricultural lending cooperative serving farmers, rural residents and agribusinesses throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. Olt is available to serve farmers and agribusinesses in Rutherford and Cannon counties.

Olt brings a strong agricultural and finance background to Farm Credit Mid-America. Born and raised in Greensburg, Kentucky, she became a co-owner of Rocky Run Farm Registered Holsteins while in high school. She earned a bachelor's degree in agriculture education and a master's degree in animal science and agriculture education from Western Kentucky University. While attending Western Kentucky University, Olt was student manager of the WKU Dairy. She previously worked as an agriculture teacher for Hart County High School in Kentucky. Olt moved from Kentucky to Tennessee eight years ago, working as the animal science teacher and FFA advisor at Stewarts Creek High School. She still owns Holsteins and owns a farm in Unionville, Tennessee, with her husband, Terry Smith.
