Sallie Pauline Davenport, 81, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011 at Woodbury Nursing Center following an extended illness.
A native of Wilson County, she lived in Readyville. A member of the Baptist church, she was a homemaker.
Survivors:
Children: Martha Ann (Rainey) Hunt of Auburntown, Dorothy Champion of Woodbury, Paul (Debbie) Davenport of Woodbury, Eddie (Lisa) Davenport of Milton, Daniel (Renee) Davenport of Readyville, TN.
Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Davenport, Children, Robert Floyd Davenport and Georgia Sue Murphy and her grandson, Johnny Mears.
Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, with Bro. Chad Hale officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until 10 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2011 at the funeral home.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
