Judy Logan

May 27, 2026 at 03:19 pm by kready

Judy Arlene (Duke) Logan of the Eastside Community in Cannon County went to be with the Lord after an extended illness. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Cannon County, Judy was the daughter of the late Arlin Duke and Opal (Parker) Duke.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Hubert Logan; her children, Sheila (Clint) Adams and Shane Logan; grandchildren, Kelsey (Steven) Lawrence, McKenzie Adams (fiancé Ryan Wilson), and Logan Adams; great grandchildren, Juliann Lawrence, Kayden Hughes, Raelyn Lawrence, and Easton Lawrence. She is also survived by her brothers, Doyle Duke and Don Duke, special sister-in-law Mary Logan Roberts (Port Barrington IL.), along with many cherished nieces and nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Barry Mark Logan, and her sisters-in-law, who were also dear friends, Charlotte Duke and Barbara Duke.

Judy retired as a security guard at the Nissan facility, where she became well known to the many truck drivers she encountered over the years - a meaningful connection, as she was married to a truck driver herself.

Judy, known by most as "Memie", enjoyed word puzzles, spending time with her family, cooking, and watching her favorite TV shows such as Judge Judy and Family Feud. She cherished being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with her whole heart.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the thoughts, prayers, and comfort shown during Judy's illness. A special thank you is extended to Angela Anderson and Tammy Anderson for their loving assistance and compassionate care.

The Logan family will receive friends Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and Friday, May 29, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 29, 2026, in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Norman Pelham officiating. Interment will follow at Leoni Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Leoni Cemetery Fund or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
