Dont we already have a dollar general store not even 5 miles down the road???? So why waste the land money on this one??? If they was going to put in another store they sholud have blud it in medway, short mtn,
gassaway or auburn town where they could use it...What a waste

Regardless of the location, I welcome the employment opportunities that come with it.

This is how Dollar General works, I am glad to see them opening stores and trying to put people back to work. If we could get some more businesses to open up and put more of our citizens back to work it would be great.

Don't worry I am sure they will open one in Midway, Short Mountain, Gassaway or even Auburntown before you know it. It is just how they work. We have at least 4 that I know of that are within 15 minutes of each other so what would be a few more?

I agree with Roy and efisk. Don't focus on the negative there are plenty of people I'm sure who appreciate the job opportunities. It is growth nonetheless and hopefully this will lead to more businesses coming to Cannon County.

Why negativity?? This is great that a large corporation even looked at Woodbury & Cannon County. The have always offered a pleasant shopping experience and this location could be convenient to many in the area who are needing a job close to home. I would much rather shop at Dollar General on every corner than Wal-mart! Thank you Dollar General for finding us on the map.

They will have one in the Midway area soon. Probably around the Red Barn area. They are tryin to put em about every 4-5 miles apart. Not only are they bringin jobs but they are bringin convenience to all areas of the county. They are savin people gas an keepin the taxes in Cannon County. People always say need to keep the tax money here but when things come along like this people still wanna complain. Can't please everybody no matter how hard you try!

We are thankful for the Dollar Store. Many of the elderly who are driving are so very happy for the Dollar Stores so close. They have ALL the necessities, you can pick up what you need and not go all the way to Woodbury or to Manchester. We are all hoping these pop up everywhere and the more they are supported the more they are popping up where you least expect it! This is the first time in 35 years that we are able to drive 5 minutes to a name store to get necessities. Thank you DOLLAR GENERAL!!! And thank you for providing local employment for your store....we are appreciative!!!!

I like dollar general and shop with them when I can save money -- which is often. I just hope the manager at the new Jim Cummings location is as nice as our manager at the old location. He makes you feel really welcome....very friendly and helpful.
The store there is the cleanest and most well
kept dollar general I have ever been in. Thanks to both locationd and I welcome them
to our town.
