Lenora Elizabeth Carroll

Elizabeth, the daughter of William McKinley and Gladys Robinson of Auburntown, TN was born October 1, 1924 and died April 3, 2013. She was secretary in the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local offices in Atlanta, GA for many years and later financial secretary for Ash Street Baptist Church, Forest Park, GA, from which she retired after 30 years. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Fayetteville, GA. She married Paul Thomas Carroll Sr. (deceased) and raised three children, Martha Sue (deceased), Paul Thomas, Jr. (Fayetteville), and Beverly (Hiram).

Elizabeth is survived by her son, Paul Thomas Carroll, Jr. (Carol), her daughter Beverly Padgett (Dan); grand children Allen Padgett, Pat Padgett, Kristi (Padgett) Olterman, Tammye (Carroll) Brown, Tripp Carroll, Kim(Carroll) King; great-grandchildren: Tyler, Morgan, Mackenzie, Lexie, Brayden, Shane, Shelby, Lauren, Ethan, Amanda, Sophia, Nathan and Cameron; her brother, Franklin Robinson (Samantha); and sister-in-law, Ura Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service to be held on April 20, at New Hope Baptist Church South Campus, 1563 Joel Cowan Parkway (Hwy 74), Senoia, GA 30269. Visitation @ 1:00, service @ 2:00.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Cancer Society or Alzheimer Association.
