L. Winfred Gannon, 69, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 at MTMC following an extended illness.
                     
A native of: Cannon County, he was a member of the Pleasant View Church of Christ, he was retired from Bridgestone.

Survivors:

Wife of 47 years, Minnie Morris Gannon of Woodbury.

Daughter, Kathy Mears (Lamar Redmon) of Woodbury.

Grandchildren, Steven Mears (Nikki Mingle) and Kimberly Mears (Andrew Cameron) both of Woodbury  and Brittany Mears (Akita Dobson) of McMinnville.

Step Grandchildren, Mary, Daphne & Nathan Moore.

Sister, Judy Reed of Tullahoma.

Aunt, Wilma Thomas of Woodbury.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Baxter and Laura Mae Merritt Gannon.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m .on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012.

Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery,  

Visitation is from 10 am until 9 pm Thursday, January 12, 2012.

Pallbearers: Grandson and Nephews.
