Mr. Joseph Foy, 72, of Woodbury, died March 4, 2010 after a prolonged illness and a brief stay in the Hospice at the Murfreesboro VA. He was born November 14, 1937 in Long Island, NY. His parents were the late Edward Foy and Gladys (Kalista) Foy. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years and was an over the road trucker for fifty years. He is survived by daughters, Sara Foy of Murfreesboro, Kasey Foy of Iowa, Stephanie Grimes of Nebraska, Corina Crumbly of Alabama and a son, Joseph Foy, Jr. of Alabama; also survived by his life partner, Carole Johanson of Woodbury; four sisters and five brothers of New York, New Jersey, Texas and Florida. Joe has chosen to be cremated with no viewing or service. His ashes will be scattered in the Carribbean.
