Graveside services for Clyde Minos Davenport, 85, were held Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Riverside Gardens with Bro. Joe Vinson officiating. Woodbury Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Davenport died Sunday, January 10 at Skyline Medical Center after a short illness. A native of Cannon County, he resided in Madison. A Christian, he was a veteran of WWII of the Army branch and a pattern maker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Martha Peeler Davenport; siblings, Clarice Smith, Margie Deberry, Magdalene Barnett, Clara Belle Ludlow, Fred Davenport, Leamon Davenport and Hagon Davenport.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret McKelvey Davenport of Madison; two sisters, Hazel Vinson of Woodbury and Naomi Campbell of Murfreesboro; several nieces and nephews.
