Cathy Bennett

Cathy Bennett, age 59 of Winchester, died Monday December 12, 2011 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center.

A native of Oak Ridge, TN she taught at Coffee County Middle School for more than 34 years and was a member of Estill Springs First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death is her father, Bill Cook.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Mike Bennett of Winchester; daughter, Michelle Bennett of Nashville; son, Ray (Sara) Bennett of Locust Grove, GA; mother, Nora Cook of Woodbury; sister, Lou (Darrell) Goins of Woodbury and brother, Billy (Karen) Cook, also of Woodbury; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of Watson-North funeral Home at 7 p.m. Thursday December 15, 2011 with Rev. Jim Patton officiating.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon and continue until time of service.

Interment will be Friday December 16, 2011 at 3 p. m. Eastern Time at Highland Memorial Park, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919.
