C. Lane Elkins

Mr. C. Lane Elkins age 66 of McMinnville, TN, (Bethany Community) died Thursday, February 24, 2011, at his residence. He was born August 08, 1944, in Cannon County, TN, was a retired real estate agent, and a Baptist. Mr. Elkins was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Virgie Mitchell Elkins and his siblings Raymond Elkins, Jr., Wanda Craddock, Gail Bryson, and Gary Elkins.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie Barrett Elkins, sons and daughters-in-law Rickey and Beth Elkins, Barry and Kristol Elkins, Brent and Loretta Elkins, grandchildren Jordan Lynn Elkins, Holly Beth and Nathan Luna, Jessica Leigh Elkins, Colby Lane Elkins, Blane Steven Elkins, and Timothy Patrick, special daughter-niece April and Michael Rumage, siblings Mallie Bryson, Lyla Dees, Shirley Bryson, Al D. and Clarine Elkins, and Vernon and Phyllis Elkins, mother-in-law Nancy Barrett, brother-in-law Leo and Teresa Barrett, sisters-in-law June Prater, Faye and Billy Cunningham, and Louree and Sammy Walker.

Funeral service is 2 P.M. Sunday, February 27, 2011, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Greg Mitchell and Bro. Joe Sissom will officiate. Interment will follow at Center Hill Cemetery in Cannon County, TN. The Elkins Family will receive friends Saturday from 10 A.M. until 8 P.M. and again Sunday from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. at the parlors of M cMinnville Funeral Home.
