Woodbury First UMC Helping To Feed Hungry Students

First United Methodist Church Woodbury will be the location for a special summer feeding program for area youth and children.

A free breakfast consisting of: cereal, milk, snack, juice and fruit will be provided each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

The breakfast will be served in the Church Fellowship Hall. The Summer Feeding Program will begin on June 6th and continue through Aug. 5th.

Rev. John W. Hembree, pastor of First United Methodist Church Woodbury stated, “so many of our students in Cannon County are on the ‘Free or Reduced’ lunch program and when school is not in session, we wanted to do something to help bridge that gap.”

The church is located at 502 W. High Street Woodbury. For more information contact the church office at 563-2135.
