Woman Cops To Possessing Drug Paraphernalia

Monica Lee Barrett, 1126 Hollis Creek Rd., Woodbury, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 7 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Gullett.

The vehicle Barrett was a passenger in was stopped at East Side School after Deputy Gullett responded to a BOLO out of Warren County for theft suspects.

 A search of the vehicle uncovered two syringes and a metal spoon with burn marks on the bottom.

 Barrett stated the items belonged to her.

 Initial court date was set for Sept. 6.
