Woman Alleges Assault At City Park

A Woodbury woman has filed a complaint against a Readyville woman alleging an assault at Brown-Spurlock Park.

Lindsey Barrett, 304 Southridge Apts. B-4, Woodbury, claims she was assaulted on April 25 by Crystal Duncan, 587 Locke Creek Rd., Readyville.

Barrett alleges the incident occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. on that date. She states Duncan "caused bodily injury by striking her about the head area and throwing her to the ground."

Barrett was holding her 18-month-old child when the incident began.

Sworn statements were obtained from two witnesses to the altercation.

Bond for Duncan was set t $2,600. Initial court date is June 14.
