Just in time to look your best for the holidays,Woodbury Weight Watchers will start a new 10-week session in September that will run through Thursday, November 17. Enrollment and money will be due at the September 8th meeting.
Weekly meetings are held at 5 p.m. on Thursdays in the community room at the U.T. Extension Office, 614 Lehman Street, across from the Senior Citizen Center. Weigh-ins (always confidential) start at 4:45 p.m. Park and enter from the back.
The cost to participate will be $120 for new members, $110 for returning members, and $100 for Lifetime Members who are more than 2 pounds over their goal. Life Time Members within 2 pounds of their goal are always free! These fees include all the written material needed for your weight loss success. No special foods have to be purchased.
Payment may be by cash or check. Split payments by checks dated September 15 and October 15, each for half the amount, will be accepted. All checks must have two phone numbers and the driver’s license number.
During the meetings members will learn how to plan, select, buy, and prepare meals that are healthy and satisfying for themselves and their families. They will also learn how to make the best selections when dining out in restaurants and even at church suppers. They will receive weekly pamphlets with ideas, new recipes, and health tips. Group members celebrate successes and support each other in a caring, sharing atmosphere.
