Wayne Keedy

Wayne Keedy, 48, of Bradyville died Dec. 21, 2011 after an extended illness. He was born in Pikeville, TN on July 20, 1963.
 
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Layhew Keedy of Bradyville; mother, Barbara (Ogle) Keedy of Murfreesboro; father, Bobby Joe Keedy of Lee Station, TN; sons, Joshua & Shelly Keedy of Murfreesboro, Shane & Brandie Layhew of Rockvale, Rusty & Angela Layhew of Eagleville; daughters, Megan & Paulino Reyes of Murfreesboro; Tracy & Bobby Brooksher of Eagleville; twelve grandchildren and John Bryan who was like a brother to him.
 
He attended Lakeview Baptist Church before he became ill.Mr. Keedy worked for many years building boats at Javelin and for Swan Manufacturing. Fishing and watching NASCAR races were things he loved to do. He was a Jeff Gordon fan. Collecting coins, knives and lighters and searching for arrowheads were things he enjoyed.
 
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 from 4-8 PM at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 at 1 PM in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Pastor John Spurgeon will officiate.

Interment will be in Amity Cemetery.
