Wallace Arrested For, Pleads Guilty To, Drug Possession

John David Wallace, Jr., 925 S. McCrary St., Woodbury, was charged with Possession Of A Schedule II Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia (glass pipe, grinder, screen and cut straws) on March 30 by Woodbury Patrolman John House. Bond was set at $24,000.

Wallace pled guilty to the drug possession charge in Cannon County General Sessions Court on April 3.

He was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days, was ordered to serve four days in the county jail, placed on probation for 11 months, 25 days, fined $750 and ordered to pay court costs.

The paraphernalia possession charge was dismissed.
