Walking horse group looking for history

The Cannon County Walking Horse Association would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the upcoming deadline on the CCWHA History Book. The end is drawing near for the purchase of the family pages in the book titled "The Ride". July 31st will be the last date for purchase.

The book is to go to print in the fall and in order to get all of the pages completed we have to have a stopping point. For everyone that has made a first or second payment and still owes for the remainder of their page, you may contact any committee member to finish your transaction. You can begin submitting your material for your page at any time now. We are also looking for any interesting pictures of horses and riders of the past or stories that you would like to share that may have a place in our book. Any past board member or spouse of a board member that has any information of the forming of or the day to day activities of the CCWHA are encouraged to contact one of the committee members.

We want to compile a thorough and accurate account of the association but we need your help. So, get to digging through those boxes of pictures and jot down any stories and contact one of the following people for assistance.
