Walker Pleads Guilty To Domestic Assault

Paul Emerson Walker, 911 Auburntown Rd., Woodbury, was arrested on a warrant charging him with Domestic Assault on May 15.

Walker grabbed and pushed the victim and caused damage inside their place of residence. The incident occurred while three young children were in the home.

Walker was arrested the next day after briefly eluding law enforcement. Bond was set at $5,000.

Walkerpled guilty to the charge inCannon County General Sessions Courton May 22. He was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days, ordered to serve 6 days in jail, placed on probation for 11 months, 29 days, and assessed court costs.

He was ordered to stay away from the premises of the offense, have no direct or indirection contact with the victim, and he must receive both Domestic Violence Inventory and Alcohol/Drug assessments.

‑ Cody Ryan Burnett,5614 Hollow Springs Rd., Bradyville, was charged with Violation of Order of Protection on May 18 by Woodbury Police Sgt. Lowell Womack. Burnett allegedly violated the order by going to the place of employment of the person who took out the order. Bond was set at $5,000. Initial court date is June 12.

‑ Nancy Marie Stafford, 701 M. Bridge Ave.,Murfreesboro, was charged with Driving While License Suspended and Financial Responsibility Law violation on May 19 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Gullett.

The deputy was dispatched toJim Cummings Hwy.on that date for a report of a one-vehicle accident in front of the Cannon County 911 Center. While en route he was advised that a dispatcher had witnessed the accident.

Deputy Gullett was advised that the driver and her mother, who had arrived at the location, did not want the law called.

Upon arrival he observed the car was in a ditch. Stafford said she lost control while heading south on Jim Cummings. Pelham’s Wrecker Service pulled the vehicle from the ditch and it was released to Stafford’s mother. Release citations were issued. Initial court date is July 10.

‑ Natasha Renee Burrus,1619 W. Green Hill Rd., McMinnville, was served a Violation of Probation warrant on May 22. Burrus was convicted of DUI onJanuary 22, 2008. Following her second revocation on Feb. 12, 2012 she agreed to serve 45 days, her probation was extended 9 months, 14 days and she agreed to serve her entire sentence for future violations.

She has allegedly violated again by failing a drug test on April 12, failing to pay all court costs, fines, supervision fees and restitution (balanced owed is $3103.00), failing to complete DUI school and community service. Bond was set at $20,000. Initial court date is July 31.

‑ Victoria H. Winchester was served a Violation of Probation warrant on May 22.Winchester was convicted of Disorderly Conduct on March 20, 2012 and was placed on probation for a term beginning and ending on April 4, 2012. She has allegedly violated probation by failing to pay all court costs, fines, supervision fees and restitution as directed. Initial court date is July 31.

‑ Kenneth Marx, Jr., 5474 Jim Cummings Hwy., Woodbury, was arrested on a warrant alleging he committed Criminal Trespass on May 19. Marx purportedly entered the property of the accuser without permission and remained there without consent. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is June 5.

‑ Ashley Dawn Reiter, 4334 Auburntown Rd., Woodbury, was charged with Driving While License Suspended on May 16 following a traffic stop on W. Main St. for an equipment violation. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is July 24.
