VOP Warrants Served On Nine

Nine people were recently served with warrants alleging they violated probation.

• Timothy Daniel Meeks, 317 S. Dillon St., Woodbury, was served a VOP warrant on June 20. Meeks was convicted of Possession of Schedule IV Drugs, Domestic Assault and two counts of Driving While License Revoked on March 29, 2011. Following his first revocation on March 20, 2012 his probation was extended until Dec. 12, 2012. He has allegedly violated probation again by failing to report to his probation officer, failing to submit to random drug screens and failing to pay all court costs, fines and fees. Bond was set at $10,000. Initial court date is July 27.

• Michael Montell Leath, 442 Forrest St., Murfreesboro, was served a VOP warrant on June 18. Leath was convicted of Possession of Schedule VI Drugs (marijuana) on April 6, 2010. Following his first revocation on July 12, 2011, he agreed to serve 30 days in jail, his probation was extended 6 months and he agreed to serve the balance of his sentence for any future violation. He has allegedly violated probation a second time by failing to report to his probation officer, failing to submit to a random drug screen and failing to pay all court costs, fines and fees. Bond was set at $20,000. Initial court date is July 10.

• Melinda Carol Barrett, 749 Jim Town Rd., Woodbury, was served a VOP warrant on June 19. Barrett was convicted of Criminal Attempted Forgery on April 11, 2011. She has allegedly violated probation by failing to report to her probation officer, failing to submit to random drug screens and failing to pay all court costs, fines and fees. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is July 10.

• Cecil Woodard, 431 Green Harbor Court, Old Hickory, was served a VOP warrant on June 18. Woodard was convicted of Theft on April 8, 2008. He has allegedly violated probation by failing to abstain from illegal drug use and failing to pay all court costs, fines and fees. His sentence was consecutive to two Rutherford County cases. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is July 10.

• Ace Jerome Barrett, 1735 Hanover Dr., Apt. J61, Murfreesboro, was served a VOP warrant on June 15. Barrett was convicted of Reckless Endangerment on Sept. 27, 2011. He was allegedly violated probation by failing to report to his probation officer, failing to inform his probation officer before changing his address, failing to complete or provide verification of completing DUI school and failing to pay all court costs, fines and fees. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is July 10.

• Jeffery Davis, 1370 Lumly Stan Rd., Manchester, was served a VOP warrant on June 15. Davis was convicted of Possession of Schedule VI Drugs (marijuana) and Driving Without A License on May 17, 2011. Following his second revocation on March 31, 2012 his probation was extended 11 months, 29 days and he agreed to serve his sentence on future revocations in exchange for no jail time. He allegedly violated probation a third time by being charged with Driving While License Suspended on April 30 by the Woodbury Police Dept. and by failing to pay all court costs, fines and fees. Initial court date is July 31.

• Roy M. Foust, 108 E. High St., Apt. 18, Woodbury, was served a VOP warrant on June 16. Foust was convicted of Domestic Assault and two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor on May 10, 2011. Following his first revocation he agreed to serve 14 days and his probation was extended 23 months, 28 days. Foust is alleged to have violated probation again by failing to report to his probation officer, failing to abstain from illegal drug use and failing to pay court costs, fines and fees as directed. Bond was set at $10,000. Initial court date is Aug. 28.

• Clark Love, 1050 Groner Dr., Knoxville, was served a VOP warrant on June 20. Love of convicted of Driving Without A License on March 29, 2011. He has allegedly violated probation by failing to pay all court costs, fines and fees as directed. Initial court date is Aug. 7.

• Regina Ann Smith, 141 Holmes Lane, Morrison, was served a VOP warrant on June 21. Smith was convicted of Possession of Schedule VI Drugs (marijuana) on June 21, 2011. Following her first revocation she agreed to serve 14 days and her probation was extended for 11 months, 15 days. She had alleged violated probation again by failing to abstain from illegal drug use and by failing to pay all court costs, fines and fees. Bond was set at $10,000. Initial court date is July 31.
