Arrests
Stephen A. Brown was charged with carrying a weapon (a Ruger Single-Six revolver) under the influence of drugs, public intoxication, simple possession of a Schedule III drug and possession of a legend drug by Patrolman Sebastian Krauss. A hearing is set for March 10 in General Sessions Court.

Mitchell Elliott Blackstone was charged with DUI, first offense, and possession of .5 grams of marijuana by Patrolman Sebastian Krauss. A hearing is set for Aug. 11 in General Sessions Court.

David Jerome Taylor was charged with driving on a revoked license and with violating his financial responsibility by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for Feb. 10 in General Sessions Court.

Joshua M. Gilliam was charged with driving on a revoked license by Patrolman Sebastian Krauss. A hearing is set fo March 17 in General Sessions Court.

Shane E. Snider was charged with DUI, second offense, and driving on a revoked license by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for May 12 in General Sessions Court.

Andrew Jacob Bobo was charged with DUI, second offense by Assistant Chief Lowell Womack. A hearing is set for Feb. 20 in General Sessions Court.

Warrants Served
John C. Smith, violation of probation.

Tiffany Dawn Scott, violation of probation.

George Lewis Saunders, theft over $500, vandalism over $500 and aggravated burglary.

Rachel Odom, violation of probation.

Jimmy Lee Rollins, aggravated burglary, theft over $500 and vandalism over $500.

Steven Harold Brown, violation of probation.

Vickie D. Marsh, violation of probation.


DRUG AND WEAPON CHARGES
A Morrison man was arrested by the Cannon County Sheriff's Department on drug and weapon charges following a series of anonymous tips.
Bobby Joe Cobb was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a Schedule II drug (morphine).
Officers also took into custody Pat Barrett Gomez, who was wanted on charges in Warren County.
Making the arrests were Investigator Brandon Gullett, Investigator Chris Brown, Sheriff Darrell Young, Deputy Jordan McGee and Chief Deputy Anthony Young.
Gullett and the other officers raided a home on Orville Duke Road in Morrison.
"We cleared the residence locating a white female known as Patricia Barrett Gomez," Gullett reported. A search of the home followed with officers locating several syringes and spoons, a digital scale and other evidence.
Cobb revealed the hiding place of a handgun to Sheriff Young. The pistol, a Smith and Wesson 9mm, was wrapped in a towel and hidden under the hood of a black truck parked outside the home.
Cobb's court date is set for March 10 in General Sessions Court.

Theft Investigated
Deputy Joshua Thomas investigated the theft of a Sony Xplode CD player from a Chevy Silverado pickup truck owned by Robert Cody Davenport.
