Virginia Frances Smithson Jones

Virginia Frances Smithson Jones, 84, died Monday, May 12, 2014 at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tn.

She is survived by her husband: Charles Ray Jones of Kennesaw, GA.; Daughter-in-law:  LeAnn Lucas of Marietta, GA; Siblings:  Billie Jo Lovvorn and Jimmy (Christina) Smithson both of Shelbyville, Jerry (Frances) Smithson of Woodbury and Marilyn (Mike) Bailey of Celina; Niece:  Tina Drumright; Nephews: Tony and Russ Barrett, Chip, Mark, Gary and Chris Smithson and Benji Bailey.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Obie and Vernie Smith Smithson and her step-son, Scott Lucas.  She was a member of the Church of Christ and a retired office worker.  Virginia enjoyed her flowers, working in her garden and traveling.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Thursday, May 15, 2014 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be after 4 pm  Wednesday, May 14, 2014.
