Two Men Face Domestic Assault Charges

Two cases of alleged domestic assault were among charges filed recently by local law officers.

• Daniel Ryan Matheny, 901 W. Main St., Woodbury, was charged with aggravated domestic assault on May 9 by Woodbury Police Sgt. Lowell Womack. Matheny allegedly assaulted the victim with a knife. Bond was set a $7,500. Matheny was appointed a public defender in General Sessions Court May 17. His next court date is June 14.

• Ricky Wesley Fults, 3021 Pea Ridge Rd., Liberty, was charged with domestic assault, kidnapping, aggravated burglary, vandalism and theft under $500 on May 13 by Woodbury Police Patrolman John Fesmire. Fults allegedly forced entry into the residence of the victim, pushed her against a way, took a 10-month-old child, and left with the child. In the process a door and door frame were damaged. He also allegedly took the victim’s phone. A neighbor reported witnessed the incident. Total bond was set at $18,000. Initial court date is June 21.

• Matthew Lawrence Feragola, 261 Buckingham Lane, Readyville, was charged with driving on a suspended license, 1st offense, on May 15 by Woodbury Assistant Police Chief Kevin Mooneyham following a traffic stop on John Bragg Hwy. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is July 19,

• Tiffany Ann Carpenter, 7401 Lowe Rd., Bradyville, was charged with driving on a suspended license, 3rd offense, on May 12 by Woodbury Patrolman John Fesmire following a traffic stop on W. Main St. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is June 21.

• Jessica Nicole Davis, 1027 Manustown Rd., Woodbury, was charged with driving on a suspended license on May 17 by Woodbury Assistant Police Chief Kevin Mooneyham following a traffic stop on S. McCrary St. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is July 19.

• Boyce Tyrone Brown, 8194 McMinnville Hwy., Woodbury, was charged with DUI 2nd offense, driving on a revoked license, simple possession of marijuana and violation of the implied consent law on May 15 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Moss following a traffic stop on Ivy Bluff Rd. Bond was set at $11,200. Initial court date is June 7.

• Cassie Morton, 2220 Short Mountain Rd., Woodbury, was served an arrest warrant for violation of probation by Cannon County Sheriff’s Sgt. Randy Neal on May 16.

• Tina Elaine Mullen, 207 W. Colonial St., Woodbury, was served an arrest warrant for violation of a protection order on May 12 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Turney. It was found that Mullen had contacted the individual who placed the protection order on her by mobile phone after reviewing records that were submitted to deputies.
