Two Arrested After Sunday Morning Boozing

Two men face alcohol-related charges after they were found by a Cannon County Sheriff’s deputy drinking in a driveway.

Leroy Carter Stingley, Jr., 1703 Saxony Court, Murfreesboro, was charged with public intoxication on Sunday morning, Sept. 4 by Deputy Brandon Gullett. The deputy was called to 1506 Bradyville Road for a report of a suspicious vehicle sitting in the driveway with two male occupants.

Stingley had an odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person. Bond was set at $800. Initial court date is Nov. 1.

Another male in the vehicle,. Austin C. Heath, 3952 Burt Burgen Rd., Bradyville, was charged with underage consumption of alcohol. Heath admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage. Bond was set at $800. Initial court date is Nov. 1.
