The Gospel: Red Apple Day Searching For Talented Performers

A projected draft of next year's fiscal budget was passed out Tuesday night during the regular meeting of the Auburntown City Council. 

Mayor Roger Turney and all council persons were present for the meeting. Mayor Turney asked that the council look the budget over and be prepared to discuss it in the June meeting. The council may possibly approve it at next month's meeting.

In other events at the meeting the financial report was presented and reviewed. The report was approved with an ending balance of $41,208.22 as of April 30th

Tina Fletcher, Red Apple Day event coordinator, said she was very interested in having Gospel bands contact her regarding performances for Friday night's program. A variety of music, clogging groups and unique acts were also needed for Saturday.
