Short Mountain Disc Jam.
August 26-28
It takes place at the Little Short Mountain Farm and Short Mountain Distillery. This is our third annual three-day event, taking place August 26-28. We will be having roughly 150 attendees. It is a Professional Disc Golf Association C-Tier tournament. Most of these will be locals from the area, Murfreesboro and Nashville, but we also will be hosting out-of-towners from surrounding states.
Also, part of the proceeds of this event will be going to Limbs For Life.
The Limbs for Life Foundation is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to providing fully-functional prosthetic care for individuals who cannot otherwise afford it and raising awareness of the challenges facing amputees. Fortunately, high tech prosthetic devices that restore a person's basic skills and independence are available. Unfortunately, many amputees lack the financial resources to obtain adequate prosthetic care. This is where Limbs For Life steps in. As you can imagine, this organization helps many veterans in our country, whose lives have been permanently changed by warfare.
