Gospel Meeting, ends June 12
Alan Gauger of the East Main Church of Christ will be the speaker at a Gospel Meeting at Bethlehem Church of Christ June 9-12. Sunday Bible study begins at 10:00 a.m., Sunday worship at 11:00 a.m. and evening worship at 7:00 p.m. A fellowship dinner will be held following the morning service at the Cannon County Senior Citizen building.

Vacation Bible School, ends June 14
Gotta Move! Keepin’ in step with the Spirit will be the focus at Cornerstone Community Church, 50 Locke Creek Road, Readyville June 10-14 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Ages: Preschool to 8th grade. VBS Kickoff Party Sunday, June 9th from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Vacation Bible School, New Hope, ends June 13
Vacation Bible School from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at New Hope Church of Christ. Bro. Chris Perry will speak at the adult class.

VBS at Leoni, ends June 12
People of Prayer is the theme for Vacation Bible School at Leoni Church of Christ. Sunday at 6 p.m. Monday-Wednesday at 7 p.m. The church is located at 6818 McMinnville Highway.

Vacation Bible School, ends June 14
Vacation Bible School will be held at Hollow Springs Community Church Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. nightly for ages 3 to adult. Snacks, games and crafts will be enjoyed by all. Family night is Sunday, June 16th at 6:00 p.m.

Summer Dance Camp, Continues until June 14

Last weekend for Ring of Fire, June 14-15
The performance schedule for Ring of Fire ends Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 with discounts available for students, seniors and groups and may be purchased by calling the Arts Center box office at 615-563-(ARTS) 2787 or 1-800-235-9073. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.artscenterofcc.com. “The Blue Porch @ Arts Center” restaurant is open before all performances.

Farmers Market opens, Saturday, June 15
Farmers Market opens at the Arts Center of Cannon County parking lot. Shop Cannon County farmers for an assortment of fresh vegetables, fruits and more. Call 563-2554 for more information. Continues through fall.

Boat Day, Saturday, June 15
Come to the Readyville Mill dam for Boat Day 9 a.m. to noon. No experience required. No charge. Try various kayaks and a few canoes. Boat coaches will be there to supervise. Children 8 and older can paddle by themselves - but will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver. Children younger than 8 can paddle with their parent or guardian. Stones River Watershed Assoc has been holding Boat Days in Murfreesboro and Smyrna for 8 years. This is the first Cannon Boat Day. Please join us.

The Industrial Development Board meets at 6 p.m. at Cannon County Courthouse. The public is welcome at IDB meetings.

Fireworks Display, Wednesday, July 3
Bring a picnic basket, your lawn chairs and get ready for the annual fireworks display at Dillon Park in Woodbury. Activities begin at 6 p.m. Fireworks will begin at dark. Contact Dale Peterson at 563-1641.
