Supervisor Election To Be Held

An upcoming election will be held fill three expiring positions on the Cannon County Soil Conservation District Board of Supervisors.

An advisory committee of leaders has been requested by the State Soil Conservation Committee to carry out the necessary election procedures.  This committee has set this election for March 18 and 19, 2011, the vote to be taken at the Woodbury Farmers Co-op from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18 and 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon on March 19.

The advisory committee has selected the following names to be listed on the election ballot: David George, Martin Daniel, Russell Vance, Gary Witty, Johnny Powell, and Lynn Trail. Three (3) will be elected.

Landowners holding legal title to lands within the Cannon County Soil Conservation District are eligible to vote.
