Son Rides 'Joy' Out Of Relationship With Mom

One local mother is getting tired of her son's antics.

Wesley Jacob Hayes, 345 Roach Hollow Rd., Woodbury, was charged with joyriding on Aug. 9 by Woodbury Assistant Police Chief Kevin Mooneyham.

APC Mooneyham received a call from Joann Sadler stating that her son, Wesley, has taken her vehicle after she told him not to.

Sadler said she wanted something done about her son as she is unable to deal with him anymore.

Hayes was spotted in the vehicle leaving the Quick Shop Market and was stopped on West Water St.

A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Sept. 20.
